Awaiting the release of her debut film in India, Mahesh Bhatt’s “Nazar”, she is confidence personified. She doesn’t feel intimidated by the persistent enquiries about her choice of a bold role, particularly the kissing scene that created quite a flutter in her country. In the film, Meera plays a dancer and choreographer, to whom is passed on the power of foreseeing murders of bar girls and prostitutes by a dying woman. “The role is not only different but also a tough one at that,” says the 28-year-old.
